Abstract Submission
The conference aims to provide a forum for the presentation of the most exciting advances and new findings in our understanding of enzymes. Both oral and poster presentations are welcome.
The abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific committee and upon application certain contributions will be selected for oral presentations.

For abstract submission please download the provided form, fill it completely and send it via Email to novelenzymes@ugent.be.

Please follow the guidelines provided in the form: author names and affiliations are mandatory. The authors have to be given as surname followed by initials and will be printed
exactly as given in the form. The name of the presenting author has to be underlined. The main abstract text may not exceed 300 words.
Abstracts will be published exactly as submitted. After submission, abstracts cannot be changed anymore. After revision, the presentating author will be notified about scheduling.
The presentating author must be registered for final scheduling and publication of the abstract. Accepted abstracts will be published in an Abstract Book.
The authors of the submitted abstracts will take responsibility of any intellectual property issues about the abstracts on their own. The organizing committee of Novel Enyzymes has the legal right to use the submitted abstracts for conference purpose.
- Guidelines for poster presentations
Please provide the posters in DIN A0 Portrait format (height x width: 118,8 x 84 cm). The poster will be mounted throughout the whole meeting.
Some of the best posters will be awarded by a jury at the end of the meeting.
- Guidelines for oral presentations
Presentations should be prepared as ppt- or pdf-files. Use of your own laptop is not recommended. Oral presentations will be restricted to 15 minutes in order to stay within schedules.
The electronic files have to be provided to the organizers just before the respective session to facilitate and fasten the procedure.
